How to Enable Telnet Client in Microsoft Windows. Before you turn this protocols on you must know what is the Telnet? Telnet is a network protocol that allows a user on one computer to log into another computer that is part of the same network. telnet is less internet bandwidth usage that you can remote to other computer or telnet server very fast through the internet. Let’s start enable Telnet Client together.

  1. Windows Key + R then the dialog box will appear. And you type  appwiz.cpl and then click OK.
  2. Then Windows Program and Feature will appear and then you click on Turn Windows Features on or off.
  3. Wait for a second you will see Turn Windows Features on or off appear. please scroll down to find directory Telnet Client. Tick it and click OK to save.

Now your telnet client services already enable. You can test by open command prompt and type telnet and hit enter.
